Elan is a historic company founded in Begunje (in present day Slovenia) in 1945 thanks to the experience, dreams and ambition of its founder, Rudi Finzgar, a ski jumping enthusiast. In the seventies it had a great success thanks to the choice of the greatest alpine ski champion of the time, the Swedish Ingemar Stenmark, who competed with the Elan skis. At the beginning of the 2000s it established itself with the revolutionary WaveFlex ™ technology, which was awarded during the following years by numerous Awards
