The Ortovox PEAK 35 backpack is ideal for hiking in the high mountains.
A very robust backpack thanks to the processing of the Manstar 420D Nylon material extremely resistant to tearing and friction.
The padded shoulder straps and belts guarantee great comfort because they distribute the load equally between the shoulders and the hips. A front zip allows direct access to the main compartment. A further strength of PEAK 35 is its separate safety compartment, with the possibility of fastening for rope, ice ax and ice nails as well as a separate map compartment and a side pocket. The predisposition for hydration system and the graphic representation of the Alpine emergency signals are also part of the backpack's equipment.              

BACK STRUCTURE: SWISSWOOL FULL CONTACT

The peculiarity of this backpack is represented by the back system made of pressed Swiss wool. Just like for clothing, mountain lovers benefit from the humidity regulation and the temperature guaranteed by the wool which creates a feeling of comfort and keeps the back dry. Thanks to wool, the back of the backpack can absorb almost 30 times more humidity than a comparable back system in foam and ensures almost 7% more perspiration. Wool also has the advantage of allowing the surface to dry quickly. The dorsal part in full contact adheres to the body and ensures optimal weight distribution. The structure has two aluminum rods that ensure high stability and extreme comfort even with heavy weights.
