Wild Country - Ropeman 4, progression blocker

Ropeman 4 is the latest innovative addition to the famous Ropeman Wild Country family.

This compact ascender is suitable for a wide range of technical applications: rope ascents, recovery maneuvers, rescue and self-rescue on the wall or from crevasses, progression in preserves and regulator for lanyards and slings.

The new lateral locking system with grooved plate avoids accidental opening during the ascent of the rope, and prevents the rope from getting stuck between the lateral plate and the cam, making the system more efficient and safe than similar devices in this category.

Built in durable and lightweight aluminum alloy, designed to work with a wide range of rope diameters (Ø: 8-13mm), the device can also be used with flat and tubular slings*.

The Ropeman 4 is compatible with HMS and oval carabiners and the large fixing hole allows the device to be rotated around the carabiner itself.

The sturdy stainless steel cable for disengaging the cam is covered in a high-strength plastic sheath to offer further convenience and safety during handling.
