The Grivel Light Machine is an ice ax designed primarily for technical mountaineering with interchangeable blades and curved G-bone handle.
The 2022 version is equipped with the Alpine blade and the Vario System accessories and the new Easy Slider Light Plus leash
The Alpine blade is a rugged mixed-use blade that can be used on both rock and ice.
The Light Machine is compatible with all Vario System blades and accessories, as well as with the previous Grivel blades.
The Slider supports the hand in traction, and sliding on the handle allows you to grip the head of the ice ax and frees the penetration of the lower part into the snow. The "umbilical" elastic sling makes it impossible to lose the ice ax.
Available in shovel and hammer version.
